Summer

We had the best time at the Safari Park as part of our "animals including humans" science unit! We also learnt more about our responsibility to look after God's beautiful creation and the work that people do in conservation. What an experience!

Y4 loved taking part in Pyjamarama day for the book trust. We spent the day reading and sharing books. Y2 came down to join in and listen to the books that we had chosen to read to them. Mrs Turner read some lovely picture books in the library to us.

The Lord's prayer retreat day! Throughout our retreat day we looked at the Lord's prayer and spoke about what we think the prayer is asking for us and praying for. Following this we discussed how we can make Earth "as it is in Heaven". In the afternoon we created some art inspired by the Our Father and had some reflective time in the hall.

In French Y4 have been playing games of "Guess Who" by asking eachother descriptive questions in French!

During vocations week we were so lucky to have Officer Mittoo visit us to talk all about his vocation. We learnt so much about what happens while being a police officer!

In literacy we have been looking at the story of Romulus and Remus in preparation for our Romans unit next term! We sequenced the lesson and acted it out in freeze frames for the class!

Y4 Have been loving creating their own logo to represent themselves on 2logo! They are using the program to direct their character around the screen to make pictures!
