Tricky rhythm pieces! 🎵🎶
We have loved World Book Day! 😁📖
We composed our own rhythms using crochets & quavers, then clapped them out to our partner. We’ll play them on our violins next week! 🤗🎻
We researched the Jewish festival of Yom Kippur and how it relates to our own Lenten journey! 💜
We used our multiplication skills to work out some multiplication pyramids. Then we made our own for our partner to complete.
Look at how well we did with our dance by the end of 1 session!
Look at the progress we made with our dance routine from the start of the lesson to the end!
In PE with Mr Benjamin looked at how dancing has evolved through the years. Now are learning a dance routine to ‘That Power’ by Will.i.am ft Justin Bieber
Year 4 have been learning all about Athens and Sparta in EBL. We have been investigating if we think Athens or Sparta was a better place to live and had a debate to try to decide which state was run better!
We were so lucky to have West Midlands Fire Service visit us! We learnt all about fire, road and water safety. We definitely have some future fire fighters in our class!
Year 4 are loving French! We have learnt how to say months of the year and count to 31. This has made it simple to be able to ask each other what our birthdays are!
We were learning about solidarity & investigated challenges that are a threat to the different communities that we live in. Then we thought about how we can help solve these challenges! What fabulous discipleship! ☺️❤️
We are learning to play along to ‘Trolls, Orcs & Goblins’ by Grieg, better known as the Alton Towers tune. It involves plucking and bowing! Very tricky but we’re doing well!
We loved our Number Square Challenge where the columns, rows & diagonals add up to the same total.
