Head Boy and Head Girl!
It will soon be time for us to appoint our pupil leadership team for this year. If you wish to apply to be Head/Deputy Boy or Girl or a prefect, then please write your letter for Friday 13th October when we will read them all out to the class plus Mrs. Finnegan and Mrs. Turner.
Think carefully about what to put in your letter, including why you think you should be chosen for the role, what you have learnt throughout your time at OLSK and what jobs or roles you have done in your time here.
We will be learning about persuasive features in literacy but we really want these letters to be individual and come from you, which is why we are setting it as homework. As always, grammar and spelling are really important and you may wish to either handwrite your letter using lined paper from school or type it up!

Project Day- 20th October
As per the letter sent before the summer, we are now changing topics every half term, not each term. We will still only have 2/3 project days a year.
Our first project day is on Friday 20th October. Children should complete a project based on our topic of Crime and Punishment from 1066 to now. This could be a poster, 3D model or anything else you can think of.
Parents will be welcome to join us at 2.45 on that day in the hall to view projects.
