Our Mission 

Inspired by the teachings of Christ, our Mission is to build his kingdom here on earth, at our school of sanctuary, where everyone is welcome. 

Through Catholic Social Teaching and encompassing our Gospel Virtues, we want everyone to be empowered to turn concern into action, serving our community and beyond, knowing that everyone is made in the image & likeness of Christ. 

We aim, as Jesus did, to inspire the next generation of disciples, who will spread the Gospel and make the world a better place, by providing opportunities to become closer to Christ, every day.

We maintain high expectations for every learner and prioritise Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Computing and Physical Education, ensuring all pupils, including those with SEND or facing disadvantage, have full access to an ambitious curriculum. Our mastery approach promotes deep understanding, resilience and a belief that every child can succeed.

We are proud to provide a creative, dynamic and nurturing environment where children's mental health, emotional wellbeing and personal development are given the highest priority. We work closely with families, offering support where needed and building strong partnerships with our parish, neighbouring schools and the wider community. As both a parent and grandparent, I fully appreciate the importance of a child's primary education and the lasting influence these formative years have on their future. It is a privilege to lead the dedicated, talented and compassionate team at Our Lady and St Kenelm Primary School. Together, we are committed to providing inspiring learning experiences, exceptional pastoral care and a broad range of enrichment opportunities that enable every child to flourish academically, spiritually and personally.
