Today in RSHE the children looked at what we have to do if we are ever in an emergency. The children were given some scenarios and considered what emergency service they would ask for.
Today in RE we explored the Sacrament of Baptism. We also shared some of the important items from our own Baptism!

Today in maths we learned about the different units of time. We timed our friends in seconds to see how long it would take them to run!

In Forest School today the children watered the plants and had fun exploring the mud kitchen! 🌳
Year One explored the different symbols that represented the disciples. We then thought about the symbols that represent us!

As part of Refugee Week, we have learned about why Refugee’s have to leave their homes. We have written prayers asking God to watch over them, thought about what a refugee might pack in their case, explored some of the countries they have to leave and made a paper chain to show we stand united 🧡

As part of vocations week Sophie’s Mum came to talk to us about her job as an Occupational Therapist and how she uses technology. We found it so interesting!
Our Gospel virtues for this half term are Compassionate and Loving. We have made a kindness chain to show how we are going to be compassionate and loving this half term!
Today in PE we practised our running!
To begin vocations week, Mrs Carey came to talk to us about her vocation as a nurse. We learned about all the different things nurses do and learned about how to keep ourselves healthy!
