KS1 performed the Nativity to their families today and WOW they were amazing! We are so proud of every single one of you. You delivered the message of the birth of Jesus with such grace!
Y5 focused on the Shepherds in our Advent Retreat Day and wrote a news report βWhat the Shepherds Heard!β & used water colours to create beautiful Shepherds on the Hill artwork. βοΈπ
Year One thought about the importance of preparing for the birth of Jesus during their Advent RE lesson and wrote prayers to read out during Liturgy & Prayer. π

Every week our Pre-School prayer bag is sent home with a different child. This is a lovely opportunity for the children to set up their own prayer area and share prayers and Bible stories with their family.
Blue RWI group were fabulous stewards, writing letters to parliament explaining why we need to care for whales π π
Y3 used the iPads to complete their fact file about Italy during Community Language Day. They found interesting facts too - did you know that you canβt get married on a Friday? Did you know itβs lucky to wear red underwear at Christmas? π²π
Y5 explored the language of German for our Community Language Day! They explored greetings, colours and numbers and created fact posters all about Germany!
Y3 created dramas in RE to show good or bad listening. The rest of the class had to decide what they were showing! π€ππ»π
Y6 wrote balanced arguments about environmental issues that matter to them! Should everyone have an electric car? Should we eat meat? Should all houses have solar panels?
Year One shone out in their phonics workshop this morning with their parents and carers! We are so proud of you all! π
Our fabulous Mini Vinnie Class Reps led us in the Liturgy for the Sacrament of the Sick at OLOL church π
Y6 have had a wonderful time creating using Word Art, they have created these images using vocabulary related to Godβs Creation!
Y2 were so lucky to welcome grandparents into their history learning to tell them about their jobs in the past! The children had lots of questions that they wanted answers about.

We had a visit from the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Hilary Bills. Our wonderful School Council had many questions for her & were delighted to meet her! She had a tour of our lovely school & said we should be very proud of all our achievements β€οΈ
As part of World Migrant and Refugee Day, Year One wrote about how they can show love and compassion to Migrants and Refugees π§‘
For world migrant and refugee day, year 2 learnt how Jesus was a refugee in the story of the flight to Egypt. They then wrote prayers for refugees in our world todayπ§‘
Y6 presented their applications for Head Boy and Head Girls to Mrs F and Mrs T who had a very hard decision to make!
Y5 researching and learning all about their class saint, St Maximilian Kolbe, comparing him to the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25), both have inspired us to love our neighbour and do for others as we would ourselves!
Y6 investigating their Crime and Punishment topic by exploring some sources and artefacts and trying to work out what they are!
Y3 learning how to use the KS2 bibles to find the testaments & different books & stories, quickly!
