Admissions

Please note:

Places in the Reception Class are allocated according to the Criteria published in the School's Admission Policy.

All Infant classes are limited to thirty by the 'Class Size Legislation' law.

Governors are anxious to point out that the offer of a place to the 'first' child of the family does not necessarily guarantee a place for subsequent siblings. The number of applications varies from year to year and offers are always made in line with the Admission Criteria. Parents are urged to take careful note of the Admission Criteria and ensure that they include alternative schools on their application form.

Appeals Process: Please contact Dudley Admissions for information, as they control our Admissions Appeals.

If you wish to apply for a place for your child at Our Lady & St Kenelm School,

please complete the Supplementary Form

and send it or take it to the School Office.

However, simply completing this form will NOT secure a place at this school.

This Supplementary Form simply informs the Governors that a family is requesting a place at this school for their child.

It is essential that you also complete a Local Authority Admission Form.

Please note that all applications are processed, in a coordinated scheme, by The Admission Department, Westox House, Dudley, using the official Local Authority form.

All parents applying for a place for their child at this school MUST ALSO complete a LA Coordinated Admission Form, for your own Local Authority, if you do not live in the Dudley Borough, in addition to the Supplementary Form.

Please ask for a Local Authority Admission Admission Form at the School Office.

 Please note:

Places in the Reception Class are allocated according to the Criteria published in the School's Admission Policy. This is updated each year, to meet Government requirements.

Parents are urged to take careful note of the Admission Criteria and ensure that they include seriously considered alternative schools on their application form, which they would be happy for their child to attend, in the event of OLSK being oversubscribed.
