World Book Day! 📚

Halesowen Library are hosting a Costume Swap for World Book Day. Many schools celebrate World Book Day ( Thursday 5th March this year but Friday 6th for OLSK) by encouraging children to dress up as a character from one of their favourite stories.

This year Halesowen Library will be collecting donations in February – allowing families to bring along previous outfits and exchange them for new ones.

What a great opportunity to support parents who are struggling with financial issues, and an opportunity for children to gain a deeper understanding about recycling clothes, and not just throwing them away and buying a new one. 💙💙💙
