13.01.25 - Reading Books
Just a reminder reading books are changed every Monday and Thursday. This gives your child chance to do their 3 reads with their book. Please ensure that this is marked in their diary so we know the 3 reads have been completed.
If your child has a blending book they are changed as and when we hear them read throughout the week, when we have assessed their blending we will then move them to the next blending book.

On the 4th December, we are inviting all parents and carers to join us for our first Stay and Pray at 8.40am. You are welcome to come straight into the classroom when you arrive, we will have a seat waiting for you. We are looking forward to seeing you then!

When your child has completed three reads, could you please mark this in their reading diary ready for us to change their books on Monday and Thursday. Thank you!
25.10.24 - Half Term
The children have taken home some work for over the half term, this includes some letter formation to help the children with their writing and learning in their phonics sessions and a maths activity sheet that you can use to help the children with their learning. All children also have a new reading book and some may have a blending book. Please could you record this in their diaries after each read you do with them. Thank you for your co-operation.

If your child has a blending book they are changed as and when we hear them read it and we move them to the next stage.

Hello !
We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow. Please come to school in full school uniform and with a packed lunch. If you have your special box please bring that in too, ready for us to use on Monday!
PE will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays so children will need to come to school in their PE kit.
On Wednesdays, children will also come to school in their PE kit ready for forest school. Please bring a waterproof coat for this day. Their wellies should be in a separate bag to stay in school all year round.

Hello!
I hope you are all having a lovely summer!
Just a reminder that I will be meeting with you all one to one on Wednesday 4th September and Thursday 5th September before your child starts full time on Friday 6th September. This is an informal meeting that you and your child will attend with myself and the EYFS team. This will be a great chance for your child to explore their new classroom environment and meet the staff. You will have received details about your meeting time at the intake meeting in July or they will have been sent through the post.
