Our spring 2 Learning Journey

Physical Development and Personal/ social skills are all on display during this outdoor session.

Hooray the Adventure Playground is open because it is Springtime- the children were practicing their climbing, swinging, stepping, balancing skills. Super physical Development.

Literacy Development- our children love books both fiction and non fiction. The prefects are brilliant at reading to them and the children show good concentration and listening skills. Our children have access to our cosy book area on a daily basis. Books and stories are at the heart of our learning.

Look at the children s mathematical opportunities - how exciting 😊

Stay and Pray “Our Lenten Journey “ shared with our families.

Thank you God for sending the sunshine ☀️ the children loved exploring the water play outside working together to work out where to place the guttering to be able to catch the flowing water in the bowls. The children had to talk to each other, negotiate and listen to their peers. A great opportunity to continue to develop their personal and social development. They had a lot of fun.

WOW look at our beautiful green hearts celebrating Gods Creation.

During British Science Week our children embraced becoming scientists they explored ice, magnets, and made jelly to observe changes ( solid- liquid- solid) This session sparked lots of rich language and questioning.

Understanding the world- Whereby the children use all their senses in hands on exploration of natural materials. Talking with their peers about what they see using a wide vocabulary. It is lovely to see some children challenging themselves physically as they climb the trees.

Physical development is one of our prime areas of learning in Pre School - look at the ways in which the children get to develop their gross motor skills. Running, jumping, pushing, pulling, throwing and catching. Lots of opportunities to practice their hand eye coordination and strengthen their core muscles.

The children have really developed in their personal, social and emotional development. They are learning to share and take turns, showing respect and care towards their peers.

What a lovely way to start a Tuesday sharing and celebrating our Learning Journeys with our families. Thank you for your continuous support in the education of your children.

Brilliant Beginning- VR The children were introduced to our new topic Virtually “ People who Help us in our Community “
