Community Language Day - Italian

We finished off the day with an Italian feast - Grissini, Prosciutto, Salami, Coppa & Mozzarella! Yum! 😋🧀🥓

We know the names of all the colours of the rainbow as well as lots of others! 🌈🏳️‍🌈

We learnt a song to help us remember the numbers from 1 to 10 in Italian. 🇮🇹

We learnt numbers to 10 in Italian & used them to do our maths! 🇮🇹🟰

We learnt how to say lots of different things in Italian such as Ciao (hello & goodbye), Salve (hello to the teachers), arrivederci (goodbye) as well as lots of other things! We used the iPads to hear how each word was pronounced.

We used the iPads to complete our fact file about Italy. We found interesting facts too - did you know that you can’t get married on a Friday? Did you know it’s lucky to wear red underwear at Christmas? 😲😁

We learnt Italian for Community Language Day! 🇮🇹 We started off having a great time making pizza! 🍕
