Option for The Poor and Vulnerable
Children will have opportunity to build on their prior geographical learning of Y1 to extend their geographical knowledge to non-European countries. Children will also revisit and build upon the geography earning from year two- local geography- and extend upon skills taught previously. Children will learn compare the physical features of UK and a non-European country and think about how human and physical features are similar or different. They will use locational knowledge about individual places and environments in the local area, the UK and the wider world.
