💬 Dialogue and Encounter
Dialogue means talking and listening to each other.
An encounter means meeting someone—and sometimes that meeting can change your life.
The Bible tells us about many people who met Jesus, talked with Him, and were changed.
One day, Jesus met a Samaritan woman at a well. Jesus spoke kindly to her and listened to her.
At first, she was surprised that Jesus would speak to her. But Jesus showed her that God's love is for everyone.
After talking with Jesus, the woman was so excited that she went back to her town and told other people about Him.
Zacchaeus was a tax collector. Many people did not like him.
When Jesus met Zacchaeus, Jesus did not ignore him. He called him by name and went to his house.
Zacchaeus' encounter with Jesus changed his heart. He decided to make things right and treat people fairly.
When we meet Jesus through prayer, the Bible, worship, and other people, we can be changed too.
We can also have good conversations with others by:
Jesus showed us that every person matters.
Sometimes a simple conversation can make someone feel loved, welcomed, and understood.
We don't have to agree with everyone to treat them with kindness and respect.
Dialogue = talking and listening.
Encounter = meeting someone.
Jesus teaches us to listen, speak kindly, and love everyone.
When we meet Jesus, we discover God's love—and we can share that love with others. ❤️
