What is my role in a just society where everyone's rights are protected?
Through enquiry learning, children will use varying skills from geography, science and literacy to explore the question ‘What is my role in a just society where everyone’s rights are protected?’ They will study this through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching, looking at ‘Rights and Responsibilities’ .
Children will study what it means to play a part in society and protect the rights of others. Through science and geography, the children will take on independent enquiries, thinking of issues that they want to tackle and investigating them. Through literacy, children will think back on their time at primary school and reflect on the memories they have made. Throughout this term, children will be preparing for their transition to Secondary School, with lots of work on independence.
