🌍 To the Ends of the Earth
Before Jesus returned to heaven, He gave His disciples a very important job.
He said:
“You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.”
— Acts 1:8
Jesus wanted His followers to tell everyone about Him—not just the people who lived nearby.
The disciples began in Jerusalem, where Jesus had died and risen again.
They told people the good news that Jesus is alive and that God loves them.
Then the message began to spread.
The disciples travelled to different towns, cities, and countries. They spoke to people from many different backgrounds and languages.
Some people welcomed the message, while others did not. But the disciples kept sharing the good news.
People like Paul travelled long distances to tell others about Jesus.
The message that began in Jerusalem continued to spread further and further.
When Jesus said “to the ends of the earth,” He showed that God's love is for everyone.
It doesn't matter:
Everyone needs to hear about God's love.
You don't have to travel to another country to share God's love!
You can:
Jerusalem was the beginning, but God's good news was meant for the whole world.
Jesus says:
“Go and make disciples of all nations.”
— Matthew 28:19
God's love is for everyone, everywhere!
From our homes and schools to cities and countries around the world, we can help share the good news about Jesus. 🌍❤️
