Year 2 had a computing afternoon today. We discussed the importance of safe searching online and had a go at using filters to make our searches more specific. We also looked at digital footprints and what it means 🖥

As part of our CST week based on Stewardship of God’s Creation we went to the Pumpkin Patch shop in Forest School. We weighed the pumpkins and added up the prices of the pumpkins! 🎃
Today we made paper aeroplanes and filled the skies with hope as a whole school to send an important message to our government to welcome refugees to our country 🌍

Year 2 led us in a beautiful prayer service today. We celebrated the feast of St Matthew the Apostle. Thank you Year 2, you were brilliant 🙏🏻
Today we had a campfire as part of our brilliant beginning for our EBL topic which is all about fire! We enjoyed toasting our marshmallows whilst talking about the fire triangle! 🔥

Having fun in PE today working on our Outdoor Adventurous Activities! We were working on our communication and teamwork skills!
Year 2 began the year by celebrating Saint Teresa of Calcutta. We had collective worship and then learnt all about the wonderful work she did in India and around the world. Mother Teresa is an inspiration to us all 💙
