Option for the Poor and Vulnerable. We are looking at artist Joey Velasco, recreating the image of Jesus being surrounded by his ‘disciples’ of poor children.

We had a FANTASTIC time singing at the Hagley Pyramid concert. We smashed our class song, 'I Just Called to say I Love You!' with our heart shaped glasses, solos and dance moves. What an amazing evening!

We have been thinking about welcoming a stranger in our learning today. Children were busy researching ways in which we can help refugees and provide a safe place for them to reside 🧡

Locating places on a map and making connections with location names. We have learnt that places ending in ‘ster’ mean castle and ‘ford’ meaning river. 🗺🧭

We have been Working Scientifically by asking questions and making observations over time. We have taken cuttings from a plant and will observe the reproduction of the plant over the term. 🌿
