Friday 27th January 2023- Wild Bird Garland Assembly in Forest school - It is also our Superhero Day, therefore, please bring in your PE kit and OLD trainers/ wellies.

Y3 SCIENCE TRIP TO THE THINK TANK! 
Monday 15th May 2023
 - We are attending workshops for both 'Light' and 'Rocks' as part of the Y3 National Curriculum. This "out of the classroom" experience will allow children to put learning into context, where they can explore the wonders of scientific concepts! They will also visit the Science Garden & explore the Science Museum.  A letter has been sent home with your child.

Y3 CLASS CHRISTMAS PARTY DAY 20TH DECEMBER 2022!
Year 3 have decided to throw a party to celebrate the coming of Christmas. This will take place in the classroom between 1pm-3pm. We ask that children bring in 1 small item of party food/snacks/picky bits. No nuts! We will take part in games, quizzes and musical statues.

Y3 ICT/ TECHNOLOGY DAY 14TH DECEMBER 2022!
To celebrate our Y3 technology day, we are inviting Y3 to dress up/wear something 'TECCY', this could be either computer based, phone/tablet or algorithms. We will be spending the morning coding, writing letters to a pen pal and exploring the world of the internet safely!

Sunday 20th November 2022 - Y3 Commitment Mass in Church led by all children in Year 3.

The Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) is statutory for all Year 4 children in Primary Schools. In Year 3, we are now encouraging children to practise their times tables so that they are prepared for the test in Year 4.

We will be holding a joint Y3/Y4 Parent information workshop about the MTC (Multiplication Tables Check) which the children undertake in Y4 on Tuesday 4th October at 9:00 a.m. in the school hall followed by activities in the classroom with the children. This means that Y3 children will have the opportunity throughout the year to practise, practise, practise for the MTC in Y4.
