Year Three performed beautifully in the Passion Play. They portrayed Palm Sunday with such grace and reverence πŸ™πŸ»

We loved visiting the science fair for British Science Week! 

Today in PE we practised our basketball shooting skills πŸ€ 

Today in maths we measured our friends height, foot length and how far the could jump. We have been exploring equivalent lengths and converting metres to centimetres πŸ“ 

Today we had the honour of welcoming Amy Smith- a British Olympian swimmer to school. We completed our sponsored workout and heard all about Amy’s journey to becoming an Olympic swimmer! We felt very inspired!

Year Three stand in solidarity with refugees 🧑 

Year three had a treasure hunt in French and explored the different items you would find in a pencil case! ✏️ 

We loved our Brilliant Beginning using the Virtual Reality headsets today. We explored the earths tectonic plates and even witnessed a volcano erupt! πŸŒ‹ 

In PE today we working on our communication skills via completing team building exercises. We used non-verbal communication to direct our partners to our hidden beanbag and then we tried to untie our human know!

We began our new topic in science today and explored that darkness is the absence of light. We enjoyed guessing what was in the bags! πŸ’‘ 

Well done to Year Three for their amazing Stone Age class assembly! We are so proud of you ⭐️

As part of children’s mental health week we went outside to have some reflective time in nature and appreciate everything we have around us! 

The children led us in a beautiful collective worship today. Very thought provoking! πŸ™πŸ»

Today we explored how we can stand in solidarity with refugees. We also made valentines cards as part of the valentines initiative 🧑

In literacy we interviewed the Caritas Ambassadors to find out their thoughts about being a School of Sanctuary. We will include their responses in our writing next week!

We began our morning with a lovely Collective Worship!

Year three have been learning about colours in French today! 🎨 

We loved creating our Stop-Frame animations today using iMotion. We cannot wait to experiment further! 

We are loving exploring the Stone Age through movement and dance πŸ’ƒ πŸ•Ί
