Thankyou to those who took part in the Big Plastic count this year, a whopping 2,177 bits of plastic were counted! The children who counted the most plastic in their class have received their certificates and a little gift will be with them soon- plastic free of course!

All our wonderful children in Pre- School were delighted with their new gifts from the Quiet Room Managers. ❤️📚❤️ The Reading Rangers were thrilled to place their new books  on their book shelves, for all to share! ❤️❤️📚❤️

Our fabulous Quiet Room Managers have been  to Halesowen Town shopping centre for new Mindfulness books! ❤️ How wonderful! They give up their own time to run two sessions a week for other children! We are so proud of them! 🙏❤️🙏📚

As part of our involvement with Puffin World of Stories, some of our pupil librarian team were invited to meet Jenny at Bear Bookshop in Bearwood. They met Jenny from World of Stories and spent a wonderful morning reading books and choosing some to bring back to school for our library.  Huge thanks to Jenny from World of Stories, who paid for our taxi fair as well as a selection of books. We are truly grateful!

NSPCC - Free Virtual Online Safety Workshop for Parents

The online safety workshop is now online provides parents and carers with information about how to support their child in their online world.

The 40-minute pre-recorded presentation covers topics such as online bullying, mental health, and social media, as well as signposting to resources and organisations for help and support.

Our Lenten Day of Prayer...our day of prayer began with a beautiful Mass, led by staff and children from each class, and it was wonderful to see children from Pre- school bring up the gifts at the Offertory! Fr must have seemed a giant to them as they handed over the gifts.

Staff and children spent the whole day reflecting upon the season of Passiontide and the final days of Jesus' life.
 

The hall was dressed beautifully by the Liturgy Leaders; a time for prayer and reflection. Staff and children found this time so valuable at this time of the Liturgical year; a wonderful way to spend with the Lord; just Him and us!
