A big hello and Merry Christmas to you all!
I hope that you are all looking forward to breaking up today and celebrating Christmas with your families. I have heard that the KS1 & KS2 Christmas productions were tremendous and you made everyone very proud with your fabulous singing and acting.
I saw the photos of all the fun you had in the snow. I was very jealous and hope it snows when I get back to school so that I can join in. Well done to everyone who came to school when it was closed, to clear the paths - it looked like very cold work!
I have my 4th chemo session on Friday (22nd) and unfortunately it's not going quite as smoothly as hoped because I've become allergic to one of the treatments so it takes a lot longer to have to make sure I don't feel poorly. I know you will be sending me lots of prayers and will keep me in your thoughts especially on that day. Once I've finished that session I'll feel like Christmas can really begin!
Before I go, I need to say goodbye and good luck to Mr Doyle! School will be a different place without you but I hope that whatever you have planned in the future will make you very happy. I'm sending you and your family lots of love.
Well, my brilliant OLSK family - all that's left to say is that I hope you all have a happy, holy, safe and peaceful Christmas and I can't wait to see you in the New Year.
Take care and enjoy your celebrations!
God bless and lots of love to you all!
Love Mrs Turner xxx
Happy Christmas

Congratulations to our Musical Theatre Group, who were chosen to sing at the Lord Mayor's School Christmas Concert on Tuesday 19th December 2017. We are really proud of all the children who took part and special thanks goes to Ben, who was very brave to sing a solo part.
The children were accompanied by a large orchestra, who played a range of instruments during the performance. It was an amazing evening; enjoyed by all.
A special thank you to Ellie- May, who supported Charlotte with the stage fright- what a little act of kindness, from a great friend. Thank you Ellie-May, for being a great friend and truly living out our Gospel Values.
Well done to all of the children & their parents, who supported this event. A huge thank you to Mrs Simpson, for all of her support in helping to prepare the children and organise the concert.
I think you will all agree with me, the Presentation of the Nativity today, was absolutely wonderful.
The staff have been very busy over the last five weeks, preparing costumes, singing songs, directing the children; all to enrich the lives of our little ones. A huge thank you to them for all their hard work. Our children are a credit to you and us. We are extremely proud of them all for learning their lines and celebrating the Birth of Jesus, as only our children could! Thank you to you the parents for all your support, practising their lines and singing the songs too.
Next week the children in KS2, will present our annual Carol Service. We look forward to seeing you all at this wonderful event during the next week!
