Welcome home to all our lovely children; thank you for sharing your God given talents with everyone at Ingestre Hall- truly wonderful. I know parents, you will join me in saying a huge thank you to all the staff who gave up their family time to support the children at Ingestre; our staff are truly amazing! đđ
Pupils from OLSK marched through Halesowen town centre with their Cub, Scouts, Guides, Brownies & Beavers groups to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War.Â
They were an absolute credit to our school & we are very proud of how respectful and reverent they were.
Y6 pupils worked hard before half term writing their speeches explaining what qualities and attributes they had to make them a successful Head Girl or Head Boy. Mrs Finnegan and Mrs Turner were invited to hear these and then had the very difficult decision, with Miss Marshall, of choosing who would take up the roles this year.
Most of Y6 applied and all of the speeches were so amazing, thoughtful and well-written it made choosing an extremely hard job.Â
Â
We would like to announce the appointment of our new Head Girl, Caitlin and Head Boy, Thomas.
They will be supported by the Deputy Head Girl, Sofia and Deputy Head Boy, Conrad.
Â
Father Bruce came to school to lead the Service to officially welcome the new Reception class children and their families to our school. Year 6 children joined their YR prayer partners to introduce them.
Â
The children sang their fabulous song, âOur God is a Great Big Godâ and we finished with refreshments and biscuits. All children were a credit to our school and we hope that the parents and carers who were able to make it, enjoyed their afternoon!
Today we officially introduced our new âLunchbunch Teamâ.
Â
The children from Y6 support the staff in the dining room every day; serving drinks to the little ones, helping them to cut up their food, modelling high standards of behaviour & encouraging the children to eat healthy,
Â
They are doing an amazing job and we are so proud to have them leading this new adventure in school. Look how fabulous they look in their new tabards.Â
