  • Whole school celebration of the Harvest

    Thu 05 Oct 2017
Today we had a whole school assembly to celebrate the Harvest. YR, Y1 & Y2 sang beautiful Harvest Hymns, offering thanks to God for all the food. Y3 performed a Harvest Poem reflecting on the work of the farmers. Y4 read Harvest Poems and sang a Harvest Samba! Y5 read a Canticle of Creation that they had written and Y6 performed a drama about Stone Soup. All of the children performed really well and it was wonderful to see so many parents, carers and grandparents who joined us for this special occasion. Thank you to all the children & staff for all of their efforts putting the Assembly together.
  • A message from Mrs Turner

    Wed 04 Oct 2017

A big hello to my wonderful OLSK family!

I have just been reading the beautiful cards & messages that have been sent into school for me & they made me smile a lot! 😊

My operation went well & I am recovering & resting at home. I haven't got a bell to ring but I am being supplied with endless cups of tea & treats! Mr Turner is thoroughly spoiling me & making sure I take things easy (even though he does say, "What else is new?!") 😆

I have to start chemotherapy on the 20th October, which I know will be very stressful but knowing that you are all praying for me, keeps me going!

    God bless you all! Xxxxx

  • Mini Vinnies take their Mission to Church

    Sun 01 Oct 2017

Well done to all our Mini Vinnies who represented us in Church this morning! Izzy, Sophie & Dominika spoke to all the parishioners about our Christmas Winter Appeal; for the homeless people in Halesowen!

This winter we are hoping to raise enough funds to support the homeless, by purchasing winter weather packs!

Thank you to Fr Bruce for allowing us to speak with the parishioners & a huge thank you to them, for their generosity!
