Tonight, at the Birmingham Town Hall, Y5 rocked the stage as part of the Hagley Pyramid Concert! Every year our children, along with five other primaries and Hagley High School, showcase their amazing talents, including a live band from Hagley, who share their love of music by playing a range of instruments.
The evening started with a prayer, from Arch Bishop Bernard. It was wonderful that he could join us all for this evening of Rock!
All of the children who took part, were great ambassadors for our school; we are extremely proud of them. Thank you to Mrs Sweeney & Mrs Foley for all of their hard work in ensuring that the children were prepared for the concert! Another thank you goes to Mr Mallinson, from Hagley, for his passion, drive & enthusiasm to make the night a success for all; well done everyone! It was wonderful to see so many parents & grandparents enjoying the night too- thank you for your support.

A big hello to my lovely OLSK family,
On Friday I had my last chemotherapy session! Yippee! I’m feeling very tired & delicate but glad to know it’s all finished! I’ve got to be off for a bit longer to get my strength back but I can’t wait to start feeling & looking more like myself!
Once I’m feeling better I’ll be able to start coming back into school, very gradually! I’ve had strict instructions from my doctors not to overdo it but the thought of coming back & seeing all of your smiley faces & hearing your news makes me very happy! 😊
Thank you so much to all of Mrs Turner’s Army as I have now renamed you! Your wonderful messages of support have made the last few months much more bearable! I feel honoured to belong to such an amazing school & blessed to be so loved by so many!
Have a wonderful rest of the term & enjoy your half term break! Can’t wait to see you all soon after!
God bless & lots of love to you all
Love Mrs Turner xxx
