A group of @SVPEnglandWales supporters from #Halesowen have hit the road this morning to help raise funds for Fatima House, a community project with @FatherHudsons and other partners.

 

In school, we are following them on their journey, supporting them as the walk.

What a wonderful morning we had at St Chad’s Cathedral, celebrating the Good Shepherd Mass. Our Y6 Liturgy Leaders presented the donations from all our lovely families- thank you for your overwhelming generosity. 

 

The children led the offertory procession, carrying our new school banner🙏😊🙏 After meeting Bishop David, we even had time for a quick cup of tea before we went to the cathedral shop to buy resources for our Prayer Bags! #so proud #team OlSK

OLSK Nursery

We are delighted to inform you that we have been approved from the LA/EYFS Team to open our own nursery which will be based on-site in Hatton House.

All our staff & children would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to one of our lovely parents on the HSA; whose company she works for Lear Corporation - has donated all the planters; one for each class. We are truly grateful for their overwhelming generosity & kindness. Please keep an eye on what the children have chosen to grow in them; vegetables & fruit; which we will sell to all the parents to raise funds for school. 

We would like to say a big thank-you to Katrina Baker & family from our Parish who donated some wonderful dressing up clothes for the children to use in learning in school! They love them already! 😊❤️

 

If you have any dressing up clothes in good condition that you would also like to donate, please send them into school - we will always be very grateful for them! 😊

What a wonderful way to spend Friday mornings; having coffee with some of the members of our Parish SVP, including our Chair of Governors, Pete Johnson. 😊 Thank you to Mike Weaver, Chair of the SVP, for the invite; we will definitely do it again! Thank you to the staff who work at the Beacon Centre for allowing us to take over their coffee shop! 🙏 Our children were proud ambassadors for our school🙏💕🙏 #so proud🙏🙏

St John's Church in Halesowen is holding a free concert for children and their families on Saturday 1st June at 10:15am and then a singing workshop for children at 2pm.
