Thank you to all the children who took part in this wonderful competition; making Easter Cards for the Ill & housebound in our Parish!
Well done one to our Mini Vinnie Presidents, for organising the whole event, with the members of the SVP.
All the cards will be given out during the Easter holidays and Fr Bruce has asked that he take the other cards, which will be distributed amongst the Parish!
Thank you you once again for the overwhelming response to this amazing cause!
This year, the Mini Vinnies are working with the parishioners & SVP at OLSK Parish; designing & creating Easter Cards for the lonely & housebound members of our community!
We we have been overwhelmed with the response to this call; Turning Concern into Action!
Thank you you to all the children who have created these wonderful masterpieces; the members of our Parish Community will be so grateful.
God bless you all.
Staff inspired the 'Love for Reading' today by sharing their favourite books with the children & dressing up as their favourite characters. Can you identify who they are?
Miss Mallin led a whole school assembly inviting everyone to share their favourite books and getting us ready for the day ahead.
Mrs Ray captivated the whole of KS1 this afternoon with her retelling of 'The Room on the Broom'....truly inspirational.
Thank you to all the staff and children for making today all about our love of reading.
Today, on St David’s Day, we had a whole school day of Prayer as part of our Lenten Journey.
Staff, children and Governors came together to offer their prayers up to God, asking him for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be with us all during Lent.
Every class spent some time in front of the Altar, created by the Liturgy Leaders; spending time in quiet prayer, writing their own personal prayers and sharing with one another.
At the end of the day, the whole school community joined back together, to share their Prayer experiences and sing hymns.
It was a truly wonderful day; the children showed great reverence when praying; taking time out of their busy day; to spend time with the Lord, in quiet prayer!
Tonight, at the Birmingham Town Hall, Y5 rocked the stage as part of the Hagley Pyramid Concert! Every year our children, along with five other primaries and Hagley High School, showcase their amazing talents, including a live band from Hagley, who share their love of music by playing a range of instruments.
The evening started with a prayer, from Arch Bishop Bernard. It was wonderful that he could join us all for this evening of Rock!
All of the children who took part, were great ambassadors for our school; we are extremely proud of them. Thank you to Mrs Sweeney & Mrs Foley for all of their hard work in ensuring that the children were prepared for the concert! Another thank you goes to Mr Mallinson, from Hagley, for his passion, drive & enthusiasm to make the night a success for all; well done everyone! It was wonderful to see so many parents & grandparents enjoying the night too- thank you for your support.
