  • Mini-Vinnies Pyjama Day

    The whole school dressed in their pyjamas and brought in £1 to help support the Mini-Vinnies.  They are raising money for the SVP Food Van which needs repairing so that it can deliver much needed items to people in our parish.  We all had a great (but sleepy) day and raised lots of money.  Thank-you to everyone for all of the contributions!

    Easter Celebrations
    This year, we are inviting all KS1 children to make an Easter bonnet AT HOME and to bring them into school for a parade on Tuesday 9th April. Parents are welcome to attend from 2:45pm.
    Our Mini Vinnies will be inviting all of the children in KS2 to make religious Easter cards for the Parish-
    ioners in the Parish. Cards must be in school by Friday 5th Arpil

    Kids will be able to swim for free during all Dudley Council school holidays at borough leisure centres, starting Easter!

     

    Registration opens on Apr 1, though children and parents who registered last summer do not need to sign up again.

  • Stay & Pray during Lent

    Today our Liturgy Leaders in Y4, led their first session of ‘Stay & Pray’ for parents & grandparents. The children created all the resources, chose the hymns & read from the Bible.

     

    The whole session was truly reflective; parents who joined us, congratulated the children on their leadership skills. Please join us next week, for another Lenten reflection.

    Each class has created pieces of artwork depicting different stages of Jesus' journey to the Cross.  Follow his journey through the photographs with your family.

  • World Book Day 2019

    What an amazing day we had celebrating World Book Day! Every child and member of staff dressed up as a character from a book and brought in a brand new book to add to the school library.  Thank-you so much for all of your generous donations and well done to the whole school community for creating such a fantastic day celebrating books and reading!

  • Meet the new OLSK science ambassadors team

    Here at OLSK we have super scientists who thrive with curiosity! We have now awarded a new team of science ambassadors their badges, as leaders of science for both staff and pupils here in school. We look forward to having their creative ideas brought to the table to ensure we are giving wings to the scientists of the future! Well done team!!
