  • RE Newsletter November 2020

    Thu 05 Nov 2020
From September 2020, we have been providing parents with a new way to share Collective Worship resources with us in school.

Instead of a PDF newsletter, we are providing input via an attractive online parent newsletter. This will provide parents with more options to interactively engage with the prayers and the teaching provided through the Collective Worship programme.

  • How to self-isolate

    Thu 05 Nov 2020

If your child has been told to self-isolate you must ensure that you follow the guidance.

    How to self-isolate

Your child must not leave your home if they're self-isolating.

    • Do not go to school or public places.

    • Do not take your child to drop off or pick up siblings from school.

    • Do not go on public transport or use taxis

    • Do not take them out to the shops for any reason, even to get food and medicine – order it online or by phone, or ask someone to bring it to your home

    • Do not have visitors in your home, including friends and family – except for people providing essential care

    • Do not take them out to exercise – exercise at home or in your garden, if you have one

Please ensure that you are following all of these guidelines to keep your child and others, safe!

    Thank-you!

  • Congratulations...

    Mon 02 Nov 2020

Congratulations to the new members of our SLT. 😊 They truly deserve their new roles; Caitlin is Head Girl, William is Head Boy & Jack & Annabelle are their Deputies!

They delivered their speeches with great confidence, explaining exactly how they will support the Governing Board & all the staff to make changes & move our school forward this academic year!

The decision as to who to appoint, was extremely difficult again this year; every one of our Y6 children could lead our school; but these four just stood out from the crowd. All of them live & breathe our Gospel Virtues not only in school but in their home life too! They are a credit to their parents and our school & I look forward to them meeting with all the members of our Governing Board later this term! We are all so proud of them!! Congratulations once again! 🌈🙏💕😊🥳🥰🤩 Love from Mrs F 💕

  • PLEASE READ- SWIMMING UPDATE

    Sun 01 Nov 2020

    Hello,

Please read below the new government guidance:

As of 5th November, to reduce social contact, the Government has ordered certain businesses and venues to close. These include:

    • indoor and outdoor leisure facilities such as bowling alleys, leisure centres and gyms, sports facilities including swimming pools, golf courses and driving ranges, dance studios, stables and riding centres, soft play facilities, climbing walls and climbing centres, archery and shooting ranges, water and theme parks,

Therefore, we will NOT be taking children swimming this half term and will continue to follow government guidance as to when it will be safe to return.

Please be reassured that we will not be resuming swimming lessons until we feel that it is completely safe to do so.

Thank you for you ongoing understanding and support.

    Stay Safe,

    Mr Hyde

Dudley is to join the rest of the Black Country authorities in Tier 2 of the national alert system, with further restrictions coming into force from Saturday morning.

    • People must not socialise in a group of more than six outside, including in a garden or park (other than where specific exemptions apply in law)
    • Businesses and venues can continue to operate in a Covid-secure manner, other than those that are already closed in law, and schools, universities and places of worship will remain open
    • Pubs, restaurants and bars must continue to close at 10pm. Takeaways can operate after 10pm but only via delivery service, collection or drive through
    • Weddings and funerals can go ahead with restrictions on the number of attendees, while exercise classes and organised sport can continue to take place outdoors, and indoors, as long as people are able to avoid mixing with other households and for youth or disability sport.
