As some of our families have been informed; RB Active Care have served us notice that, from the end of the Summer Term, they will cease to provide breakfast and afterschool care in our school.
To continue to offer support to our working parents, we are currently looking at other providers and will keep you advised accordingly.
A letter, explaining the full details regarding this situation, will be sent out to you, next week.
Thank you for your patience in this matter, from Mrs F πππππ
KS2 spent the morning at Stourbridge Town Hall watching Mary Stevens Hospice's production of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. What an AMAZING time we all had. We shouted, we sang we laughed and we danced. The Dame, Nanny Annie even fell in love with Mr Hyde!
What a fabulous way to spend a morning and our children, as usual, showed exemplary manners and behaviour. We are so proud of them and the compliments that we had about them.
Two of our Y6 inspirational Liturgy Leaders, have set up their own Quiet Room, on Mondays and Thursdays,; giving children across KS2, the opportunity to have some quiet time during lunch, to complete mindfulness activities instead of going out onto the playground. Wow! How fabulous are our children, thinking about others, before themselves. All of the children are absolutely loving this time! Well done to our Leaders, so proud of you both! πππ
Department of Health and Social Care - Important Reminder
When you take a rapid lateral flow COVID-19 test, always remember to report the result.
Whether it is positive, negative or void, reporting results is an important way to help the NHS reduce the spread of the virus.

Great news! π I am pleased to report that our Mini Vinnies have been awarded a Certificate of Merit by Her Majesty the Queen's Lord Lieutenant for the West Midlands for their efforts! The award will be presented in School as the pandemic subsides. So proud! From Mrs F & everyone at OLSKπ
Today we spent time together as a staff at the Birmingham Oratory. We enjoyed a tour, a visit to the Newman museum & Mass as well as time in reflection, meditation & prayer together. A huge thank-you to Fr Anton & Br David for leading us today. A fantastic way to start a new school term.
As another year draws to a close, & we are all hoping 2022 brings better health, I can’t even begin to list everyone who has gone above & beyond again this year (Governors, staff, children & parents) but so many people have been absolutely fabulous, and I want to say a HUGE thanks to you all! πππ
I hope & pray that we can all return next week as always, as one OLSK family!
Please stay safe! πππ
