Just to thank you all (as a Governor) for a wonderful and prayerful service last night. The children read and behaved exceptionally and a credit to the school. Thank you to all the staff that came and all the effort of the HSA and school community for preparing for the event- I know these things take a lot of planning!
Can I ask you to thank the staff (SLT, teaching, admin and support) for the effort, commitment and continued faith they bring to our school community. The school wouldn't be what it is without the care and dedication they all bring.
I hope you all have a well deserved and rested summer break.
Kind Regards
Lucy Carew

Today we had a visitor from St Mary’s College, Oscott, to talk to us about Vocations. Our question this year has been ‘How will you show witness to your Faith?’ The staff & children have been reflecting on this throughout the year & especially this week, for Vocations! 🙏😊🙏
Today, Y6 has visitors from Highway England to talk about their vocation! 🙏😊🙏 They shared a wealth of knowledge & information with all the staff & children about the work they do in order to make our roads safe!

OLSK was the site for the first ever Girls’ Football League today. Howley Grange, Caslon, Manor Way, Huntingtree and Colley Lane joined us for an afternoon of football and fun.
Howley Grange came first but every single girl who took part was a winner!
Congratulations to to all of our girls who came 2nd. You were an absolute credit to our school!
Thanks also to Mr Brettle for marking out the pitches, Mr Nash and Miss Meese for refereeing, Miss Mallin for taking photos and Mr Brown for organising the event.
Some of the children from Y5 were invited to a Creative Writing Workshop at the Priory Catholic School today! They spent the whole morning with the children & staff from the Priory, including an author, who inspired them to keep writing stories; giving them strategies to improve their writing.
The children absolutely loved their whole time at the school and came away totally inspired. Thank you to the staff for the invite; and to the Y10 children, for leading the session! ✍️📚✍️
