  • Y6 Creative Curriculum Day

    Fri 14 Jun 2019

Y6 split into two groups for the second part of their Creative Curriculum Day.

Half went into the Phiz Lab decorate their crosses with Mrs Nixon and Matt Johnson and the remaining half became rollercoaster engineers with Mrs Turner and Mrs Morris!

Each child in Y6 has designed and decorated their own cross and these will be put up on permanent display in the Y6 stairwell as their parting gift to our school.

The results of the day were phenomenal and showed that hard work, perservence, patience and team-work really do pay off. What an amazing day learning new skills together.  Well done everyone!

  • First Holy Communion

    Tue 11 Jun 2019
Well done to all of the children in Y3 who received the Blessed Sacrament for the first time on Saturday.  It was a wonderful day, in spite of the downpours! At the Thanksgiving Mass in school, the children celebrated with everyone and received the Blessed Sacrament in front of the school family. We wish each and every one of them a lifetime of love and happiness with Christ at the Centre of everything they do.

  • First Friday Footsteps

    Mon 10 Jun 2019
A huge congratulations to Pete Johnson (our Chair of Governors), Tom Foley, Martin Redden and Kevin Sables from our parish who walked 12 miles from Winchcombe to Cleeve Hill to raise money for Fatima House.  Fatima House is in the centre of Birmingham and it offers safe shelter to female asylum seekers who would otherwise be destitute and homeless.  We were hoping to walk the miles with them but due to the dreadful weather we have postponed it until later in the term.  We did have a non-uniform day and the money raised from this will be sent to Fatima House.  Well done to all four who walked the route - we are very proud of you!
