Band Runner: New Thinkuknow game and website for 8-10 year olds - N.B This will replace the Cyber café resource which will be live until 21st December 2018

This is a fun runner-style game, available on the Thinkuknow website, which you can use in the classroom and encourage children to play at home. • Special Assembly for Miss Costello

    Wed 18 Jul 2018
On Wednesday we had a whole school assembly to honour Miss Costello and thank her for her hard work and dedication to OLSK over the last thirty years! Each class got up and showed how special she is by singing, dancing and reciting poems. We each presented her with a class card. She will be greatly missed by staff and children alike! We wish her farewell and a long and happy retirement!

  • Mini Vinnies take their gifts to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital

    Mon 16 Jul 2018

Today, the Mini Vinnies took all the gifts they bought with the money you donated from the OLSK Bake Off, to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, including a cheque for over £100. The staff were totally overwhelmed with your generosity and asked us to thank you in return. We had a wonderful morning being shown around the hospital, including a visit to the hospital school and the Chapel; truly beautiful.

On our return- look who paid us a visit; our own little mascot- Vinnie Holliday! He even joined the Mini Vinnies by placing his handprint on the wall; how cool is he! His mom tells us that he is really good health and now he’s walking, just like any other toddler, he’s into everything. Lol

Thank you to all our Mini Vinnies for their hard work this year & to you the parents, for your continued support!
