    Fri 22 May 2015

On Tuesday 20th May, our Y6 Liturgy Leaders travelled with Miss Costello and Mrs Foley to St Chad's Cathedral, in Birmingham, to take part in the Fr Hudson's Mass and present our school cheque for the money we raised for Fr Hudsons! Thank you to all our children and parents who saved all their pennies to support those who are less fortunate than ourselves!

  • Year 6 scientists come away with silver and bronze at Birmingham University Science fair!

Tue 21 Apr 2015 Miss Marshall

After months of preparation, 10 of our year 6 pupils were enthused and excited to take their science projects to Birmingham university. There, they were asked to display their projects, talk about them and hold an interview about their projects to three lots of judges.

The children began the day feeling anxious and nervous, but as time went by, they soon got into the feel of the science vibe and were able to deliver confident speeches about their posed question and their results.

After projects from 3 schools were judged, we were delighted to find out that two of our children from Our Lady and Saint Kenelm had been placed second and third!  What a fantastic result for all of our budding scientists!  I thank the children for their impeccable behaviour and endless enthusiasm!

    Fri 20 Mar 2015

MUD RUN: Father Hudson’s Society and Kenelm Youth Trust (Alton, Soli and BCYS) are organising a joint Mud Run at Alton, Staffordshire on the 28th June 2015 and would love your support by either running or walking the race yourself (as long as you are over 16) or coming along to watch and support on the day at Alton in Staffordshire, and lastly by sponsoring the runners. Any families with children aged 5 years – 13 years will be pleased to know that at Alton Castle a mini Mud Run will be available to the children along with a climbing wall activity. They are asking that each runner pledges to raise £50 sponsorship, as well as the £25 registration fee (which goes to the organisers) and this can be for FHS or for Kenelm or the runner can split the fundraising equally between both charities. Any runner wishing to register needs to do so ASAP via the web site eightpointtwo.co.uk as numbers are limited. If you have any questions please email annettethomas@fatherhudsons.org.uk or ring Dom or Sandra on 01538 703224
