Congratulations to Y5 who sang with 350 other pupils from 7 different primary schools plus Hagley High School at Birmingham Symphony Hall. The theme was 'Electric Dreams - step into the 80's'.
Mr Mallinson chose 'I just called to say I love you' for them to sing as their solo and they smashed it, complete with heart shaped glasses, soloists and fab dance moves.
We are so proud of all of their hard work and the effort that Miss Woodfield and Miss Marson have gone to, ensuring that they were so well prepared.
Everyone who attended have a fabulous time and our children received many compliments, not only for their amazing singing, but for their manners and conduct too.
Well done Y5!
The MMR vaccine is safe and effective and it's free on the NHS.
All children are invited for their first MMR vaccine on the NHS when they turn one. The second dose is given when they reach three years and four months of age.
Having two doses of the vaccine provides the best protection against MMR and adults and older children can be vaccinated at any age if they have not been fully vaccinated before.
Parents who are unsure if their child is up to date with all their routine vaccinations can check their child’s Red Book (personal child health record), check on the NHS app, or contact their GP practice.
Pop-up vaccine clinics are offering the MMR vaccine for all eligible children who are due or have missed a dose. Adults up to the age of 25 are also invited to come forward.
The clinics will be staffed by trained healthcare professionals from the NHS and Vaccination UK who specialise in childhood vaccinations and follow all necessary safety protocols. Children will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the clinics.
The next set of clinics are:

Thank you for attending Pre-School’s Colourful Semantic Workshop, we hope you found it useful and informative. We look forward to utilising our symbols and actions more during our story telling and learning.
If you find yourself in financial hardship, help is available. Please see below details of the emergency support that families can access, if needed, in Dudley
You may have noticed from our pop-up on the school website, that we are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is because Mrs Woolls will be leaving us at half term for an exciting job opportunity at Hagley Primary School.
I am sure that you will join with us as we wish her all the best for the future, particularly the children and parents of the Y3 classes that she has supported during her time at OLSK.
Following reports over the weekend of sexual assault offences within Dudley, there has understandably been some concern expressed by schools, parents and the community. Violence against women and girls is an abhorrent stain on our community and is taken extremely seriously by West Midlands Police, Dudley Council and the wider Community Safety Partnership. Protecting our young people from harm is a top priority.
I can confirm that following some rapid, complex and joined up team work there is a male in now custody for these offences. Increased police patrols have been taking place to support people to feel safe going about their daily lives and we hope that the above news brings some reassurance.
