Every year we send home reports to every child from Pre School to Y6 celebrating not only their academic achievements but also their personal and spiritual growth throughout the year. We always invite parents to give feedback to share with staff.

Here are some that we would like to celebrate!

Thank you to all the staff involved with teaching our daughter this year. We are so proud of her report and all she has achieved. She loves coming to school every day and we are so thankful for all your hard work this year and preparation for her First Holy Communion. Have a lovely summer break.

Thank you so much for the time and support you have given our son this year. His report is lovely 😊 Thank you also for choosing him as pupil of the year! Myself and dad are so very proud of his progress, and we know that’s down to the wonderful Y3 team x

We are thrilled with our son's report. Not only has he made progress but it is very clear that Miss Carey knows him so well! He has loved his time in year one and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of school this year. His report reflected him perfectly and as happy as we are with his next teachers, he will miss having Miss Carey!! We couldn't be happier with the love and support Miss Carey clearly shows and we are very grateful to the incredible start she has given him! Thank you!!

The outstanding achievement my child had achieved. He has had a wonderful time at OLSK and he has shined throughout his primary school. Thanks to all the staff members at OLSK.

I am amazed at how much our daughter has accomplished in such a short amount of time with Mrs Ray! She had become such a confident little girl and is loving going to pre-school! She has already learnt so much and I can’t wait to see what else she will learn in her next year at pre-school! The pre-school team are amazing and are well and truly irreplaceable!

Your enthusiasm, dedication and care have helped my son to progress so confidently in Y2, he always speaks so warmly about his teachers. Thank you very much, Mrs Fairfax and Mrs Brandrick, for helping the children flourish in all aspects-both academic and social. I wish that I had had a teacher as amazing as you when I was student!

Our child has developed so much confidence during her time in Reception. Miss Hudson and Mrs Belk have been so patient with her and got to know her inside out, so that she could communicate even when talking has been difficult for her. We are so grateful for their support and are thrilled with her report! She will miss Reception so much.

What a fantastic year our child has had! We are absolutely thrilled with our daughter's report and cannot thank Mrs Fairfax and Mrs Brandrick enough for their kindness and encouragement that has made our child year 3 ready. Her confidence has grown so much and she has really enjoyed year 2. Thank you so much!

Our son's time in Year 1 has been nurturing, positively reinforced, and loving. Outwardly we see his personality as more reserved than his peers and as such we had some worries over his involvement in class being lost. However the teaching team have tried to find ways to bring his confidence out in other ways. Thank you. He only speaks of his love of his teachers and friends. When he faced barriers to completing his writing new ways were found by the way of a diary at home where he was able to write down his evening activities to supplement his writing at school - this was wonderful to see as an alternative way for him to develop.

Very proud of mu daughter’s hard work and dedication this year. She has loved being in year 5 and all the challenges that have come with it. Thank you for all the hard work the staff at OLSK put in each day to ensure the children have the best experience.

Thank you for everything you have both done for our daughter this year, she has loved you both teaching her and we will really miss you both as her teachers. What a lovely school report and such nice words, we couldn’t be more prouder, the whole family have been taking the report round with them this weekend to show off to extended family and their friends. It really means so much to us and couldn’t be more grateful, what a wonderful year it has been!! X

An amazing report all round. I am so happy to hear what great progress she has made and also that she is a caring person with some great friendships. Thank you to everyone that has helped her in Y1.

We are enormously proud of our son and his progress, his love to science is really strong and his reading is great! He has learnt a lot in Year 2 and really enjoyed every day in the class. We would like to thank all teachers, especially Mrs. Fairfax and Mrs. Brandrick- you are amazing! he loves you so much and will miss you very much!

Thank you for building my son’s confidence over time. He started off very introvert and shy. He, now truly does believe in himself. His speech and development has come on leaps and bounds since joining last September. And the teachers/staff have been incredible. Always listening to my worries/concerns. Thank you so much especially to Mrs Ray and Mrs Pugh. Amazing enthusiasm with the children and always so supportive. It’s been an incredible year for him and I know he enjoys going into school every day. Thank you so so much for everything you do. 

A great report, that I agree with whole heartedly. Our son works hard to be achieving at the best level he can, and I will continue to encourage him all the way. It's been a tough year for him, navigating his way through some situations with 'friends' so I am happy that he has done so well, and is still his happy, kind and caring self! Thank you to the Y5 team!

This was a fabulous report for our son. It’s lovely that he has settled into Reception so well. His love of reading is great to see.

Thank you for all your hard work, and all the fun things you do with the children and teaching my son new skills, we can see he is starting to become more confident which aa parents is lovely to see . He loves Miss Carey and said he is sad to leave her class 😔 . Thank you again and enjoy your well deserved summer holidays.

It was lovely to read all of the progress our daughter has made this year across a variety of subjects. She has thoroughly enjoyed year 2 and I would like to thank you all so much for looking after her. Wonderful teachers !

Our daughter has had a wonderful year in year 2, she has made wonderful progress and her confidence has blossomed. She absolutely loves coming to school which is the most important thing for us! Thank you for all your hard work, she will really miss you both next year!

Our son has loved Reception and all of his teachers. He has thoroughly enjoyed having Mrs Ray for a day a week also, which made the transition from Pre school to Reception a lot easier! We cannot thank you enough for your wonderful words regarding our son. We are so proud of his progress especially in maths. This is all down to your commitment and patience. He has thoroughly enjoyed year one and we are so happy for the year he has had. We truly are thankful to you all.

Our daughter has really felt supported by and really enjoyed having Miss Harris as her teacher this year. She has made significant strides in her confidence to do her work this year.

I'd like to celebrate the incredible dedication, creativity, and care that Miss Carey and rest of the Year 1 teaching team have shown throughout the year. Whether it’s the academic progress, emotional support, or the safe and inspiring environment you’ve created for our son and other children to grow and thrive, each part deserves recognition. I really appreciate the patience you have shown with him to enable him to come out of his shell as I know he can be very quiet and shy sometimes. I ecstatic that he has attained "Working At" across all subjects and is above expected progress in reading and writing. Your teachings and support have had a hugely positive impact on him and us as parents will continue to encourage him to contribute more in class which was highlighted as an area that requires improvement.

We’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate the incredible dedication, support, and care that Mrs. Turner and the entire Year 3 teaching team have shown throughout the year. From fostering academic excellence to providing emotional support and creating a safe, inspiring learning environment, every aspect of your work has played a meaningful role in our daughter’s development this year. We are especially grateful for the way you’ve nurtured her confidence and helped her grow both academically and personally. It’s been wonderful to see her flourish under your guidance. We are absolutely delighted that she has achieved greater depth in most subjects and made above expected progress overall, an incredible achievement that reflects the quality of your teaching and the encouragement she has received throughout the year. As parents, we recognise that there is always room for growth, and one area we’ll be focusing on together over the summer is helping her strengthen her times tables, the area you have identified that requires improvement. We want to ensure she enters Year 4 in September feeling confident and well-prepared. We’ll also continue to support and encourage her to remain focused, keep working hard, and enjoy learning. Thank you once again for the positive impact you’ve had on our daughter’s learning journey. We’re truly grateful for your support and the care you show to every child in your classroom.

We’d like to take a moment to celebrate and sincerely thank Miss Woodfield and the entire Year 5 teaching team for their commitment and support to our son and his classmates throughout this school year. Your ability to cultivate both academic growth and emotional wellbeing which is vital to our child given his ASD, in a supportive and engaging environment has made a real difference in his development. We truly appreciate the way you've encouraged him to build his confidence and progress in his learning. It’s been so rewarding to watch him thrive under your guidance. We’re incredibly proud of his great progress in Maths and that he has exceeded expected progress in five subjects, an achievement that speaks volumes about the excellent teaching and consistent support he has received this year. Looking ahead to Year 6, we know there are still areas for him to strengthen, and over the summer we’ll be working with him to improve his comprehension so he’s well-equipped and confident for the challenges ahead. We’ll also continue to motivate him to stay focused, keep striving, and enjoy his learning journey. Thank you once again for everything you’ve done to support him this year. We are genuinely grateful for the care and dedication you bring to the classroom each day, it has made a lasting impact.

Miss Carey has been amazing with our son, he has come on so much in his learning and confidence. She is the best!

Thank you for another fantastic year at OLSK! The support and love you have both given to our daughter this year has been amazing, she’s really grown in confidence this year, we love how much you have nurtured her love for reading! Thank you for everything you have done!

Thank you for all the patience and love you gave to our daughter especially in those early days! She has grown so much this year at pre school and we feel so so lucky that this pre school with you wonderful teachers was her first experience of education! It has been so nice to leave her somewhere and genuinely not worry about her, feeling totally confident that she is being so well looked after and nurtured! Thank you!

It has been great to read about our daughter's helpfulness and caring nature in school and we know that she has developed so much again this year. Thank you for all of your support as always.

Our daughters had wonderful reports and that is down to the incredible learning environment provided by very talented teachers. We are very proud of our daughters but as a school you are enabling them to flourish in all aspects of school life. For this I would simply like to say thank you.
