This half term children in reception have been exploring the computers through different games and activities such as purple mash and top marks. They have been learning how to move the curser using the mouse and selecting using the left side.
This half term our online safety topic was 'Online Bullying'. Every class took part in different activities and learnt lots about how online bullying can make people feel and what to do if they should ever come across this.
Year 1 have been working hard on practising logging in and using word to type simple sentences.
Year 2 have been using 2Calulate to use spreadsheets. They can add values to images and know how to create calculations.
Year 5 have been learning all about Microsoft Word and are able to now insert images, text and tables into a Word document.
Today Year 6 started to look at Microsoft Excel in computing. We explored the spreadsheets and learnt about columns, rows and cells.
