Computing Learning Journey
Year 5 have been learning about managing online information and have looked at how and when online content has been commercially sponsored or boosted.
Year 3 have worked hard during their computing lessons this term and are now fantastic when using PowerPoint.
Today, Year 1 have used the Chromebooks to work on their coding skills. They were able to create code to help the aeroplanes move in various ways.
Year 1 have been looking at Coding in computing today, we used code blocks to make objects move.
Y5 and Y6 had a visit from PCSO Cadman on Safer Internet Day who talked to them all about why it is importance of being safe online.
Pre-School celebrated Safer Internet Day and learnt what they should do if they are worried or unsure about something.
Y1 have been having fun learning to be safe online by looking at online relationships and discussing how we should be considerate to others.
Y2 were amazing at learning to be safe online by using safe searches.
In Computing this half term, Y3 have been starting to look at how to use PowerPoint. So far, they have learnt to add text, images and animations to a presentation.
Y5 have been using 2Code to create code and algorithms.
