We have brought in some board games to share! What a great way to spend a morning with lots of happy faces! 😁❀️

We had a great day on our Lenten Retreat! We investigated different words for Mass, explored famous paintings of the Last Supper & made some wonderful Easter cards for our families & people in the Parish! ❀️ What a busy day! πŸ™βœοΈ

In Maths, we have started learning about time. We practiced using our clocks to show different times.

Another fun PE lesson in the sun. 🌞 This week we had to work together using equipment to create the pictures on our sheets. We also created our own pictures for our friends to guess what it was.

Our green hearts to show our love for our planet.

We enjoyed welcoming our parents to the Reconciliation workshop to find out more about this special sacrament & complete some lovely activities together! πŸ™πŸ’œ

We joined Father Stefan at church to journey through the Stations of the Cross

Today we marked Ash Wednesday with whole school mass where we all received an ash cross on our foreheads.

In PE, our unit is Outdoor Adventurous Activities. We had great fun in the sunshine completing tasks which involved working as a team, communicating effectively and listening to each other. It was certainly a challenge undoing our human knot! πŸ˜„

A lovely afternoon spent in our fantastic forest school area. We had great fun climbing trees, exploring and making bird feeders.

We welcomed our parents and carers in to look at all of our fantastic work.

As part of our Science topic, ‘Animals including humans’, we learnt about how our muscles work. We moved in different ways to see how our muscles contract and lengthen.

As a follow up to our VR workshop we learnt about what is underground, the different layers and tectonic plates.

We had a great time when the VR visited learning all about natural disasters such as volcano eruptions and earthquakes!

We investigated the first reading in Mass and looked for stories that matched the different themes of the Old Testament

We presented our class assembly all about love & St Valentine. What fabulous performers we all were, our teachers are so proud of us! ❀️❀️

We love it when Elma comes to visit us, she definitely makes herself at home! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

We welcomed our parents into teaching & learning today so that they could find out about the MTC & play some multiplication games! What a great way to spend a morning! βœ–οΈπŸŸ°πŸ˜

We were theological detectives & used the Order of The Mass to put the parts of the Liturgy of the Word in the correct order! πŸ™

We finished off Children’s Mental Health Week by joining other Dudley schools & the DPA at the Harmony celebration!

During Mental Health Week we thought about ourselves and learnt the motto ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’. We also wrote our own affirmations.

We loved playing Jaques a dit (Simon Says) in French when we were learning about classroom instructions with Mrs Brandrick. We were very good at it! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‡«πŸ‡·

In Science, we have been learning about how the skeleton protects our organs. We used our knowledge of structures from our DT lessons to create a structure to protect a savoury cracker. The structure represented the skeleton and the cracker represented an organ. We put the cracker inside the structure and dropped it. If the cracker didn’t break, it meant we had made a strong structure. We were all very successful in our structure building as none of the crackers broke. πŸ˜„

We joined in with the BDES Live Jubilee Launch for schools. We were detectives, writing down what we see, hear and what we will do this year to be a β€˜Pilgrim of Hope’.

We had great fun in the Phizz Lab learning all about skeletons and labelling the bones. Some of us even made friends with a skeleton! πŸ˜‚

We had a visit from Al and learnt all about carbon monoxide. We had great fun taking part in a drama and were excited to receive a goody bag. We are now carbon monoxide experts! πŸ˜„

We have been learning about forgiveness & drew pictures about what forgiveness is to us. ❀️πŸ₯°

As part of our Christmas unit, we watched β€˜On Angel Wings’ and used our VIPERS skills to dig deeper into the story of the shepherds & the angels. πŸ˜‡πŸ‘

We investigated the meaning of our new CST focus for this half term. We thought about different ways that we can treat others with dignity & respect. We used the thesaurus to find synonyms for solidarity. 🀝❀️
