Lenten Retreat Day. Journeying to the Cross with Jesus 💜 

Today we explored the story of The Last Supper. We thought about how Jesus and disciples felt at their last meal together 🙏🏻

Year One loved having the farm come to school today! We got to feed the sheep and stroke the ducklings and guinea pigs!

We have started or multiplication a division unit. We have been looking at arrays and groups!

Today we had Super Star Sport in and we learned all about how to dribble a ball!

In maths today we compared the capacity of different containers 🫙 

In RE today we explored the change that the Prodigal Son made. During the season of Lent we think about the changes we can make in our own lives.

Today we measured capacity using different units. We used cubes, water and sand. We decided that water was the best unit of measurement!

Today in RE the children explored what its means to be the light of the world. We helped guide are friends to the lights of the world in our class which is us! 💡

In forest school today we looked at what materials were best for a birds nest 🪹 

British Science Week 2025! We looked at whether ice would melt quicker with warm water or room temperature. We then looked at what items should and shouldn’t be flushed down the toilet! 🧪
