Community Language Day 14th November 2025

On Friday we are celebrating Languages in our community! Our Y5 focus is Germany.

Please come dressed in the colours of the German flag as part of non-uniform for the day. If any parents/carers would like to come in on this day and share their culture/language with us please email info@our-lady.dudley.sch.uk. 

Young Voices 2026!
Your child has a copy of the lyrics to be learnt ready for Young Voices in January. Please ensure you have access to the Music Room and explore with your child at home! Thank you.
Due to overwhelming demand, many YV26 concerts have now sold out!

Please encourage your child to read at home and bring in their reading records daily! :) Thank you!

A letter has gone out for our Geography Fieldwork trip on 25th November 2025! We will be heading into Halesowen to explore our local area, what is available in terms of leisure centres and recreational grounds! If you are a parent and are free to join us please email @info!

Autumn 2 PE DAYS - This half term we are excited to start our French topic alongside learning to play the recorders on a Friday afternoon. Therefore, PE is now on a Tuesday and continues to be on a Wednesday. Thank you!

Y5 PARENT WELCOME MEETING 5/09/2025
The Year 5 Welcome to Class Meeting will be on Friday 5th September at 2.45pm-3pm.

This meeting for Y5 parents will take place in the Phiz Lab and will be a chance for us to meet and share the expectations of being in Y5 as well as all the amazing things that are planned for the academic year ahead, including the Young Voices 2026 Concert information!
