Protect Our Planet Year 4 Art Day!
To embed our Geographical learning, we will be spending the day creating art linked to the rainforests that we have been studying. Please send your child in with the following items if possible:
- Apron or an old T-Shirt
- Old Magazines with images of trees, fruits, and animals
- If anyone has some colour swatch cards from places like B&Q they would be greatly appreciated!

Community Languages Day - 14th November
We will be celebrating community languages day on the 14th November and we will be wearing red and white to represent Poland. We will be trying Polish foods, learning parts of the language and researching facts about Poland! If any parents would like to come into school to talk to any class about another language that you can speak. Please email the office @info. thanks! Mrs Harris
Forest School
On Monday 13th October we have Forest School! Please come into school in your PE kit with some spare shoes and any other kit you might need for Forest School.

For those children NOT attending Ingestre Hall
A letter has been sent home about what your child will need for those 3 days.
Regardless of the activity picked, all children not going to Ingestre will wear their PE kit Wednesday and Thursday.
If your child has selected Art, please send them in with an old T-Shirt or apron you don't mind them getting messy.
Friday is own clothes day, with a theme of 'Wear it Red', however we will be going to Forest School on the afternoon, so please provide suitable footwear and clothes.

HISTORY DAY!
On Monday 20th October we are going back in time… to the Victorian times!
As part of our plan to enrich our History curriculum through our topic ‘How have children’s lives changed?’ we are going to experience this in our classroom! The lessons will feel different, the classroom will look different and so will Mrs Harris and Mrs P!
Children are welcome to dress up to fit the theme, however they are fine to come in uniform too!

Week commencing 29.09.2025 we are making our pavilions. Please can you send in anything your child can use to make these. We will have some resources in school, however your children have designed some beautiful pavilions with material specific designs.

Violins
Your child has now bought home a violin to practise during the week. This needs to be returned every Friday for their lesson Friday afternoon. Thank you
Reading Books
Your child now has a school reading book. Please ensure you are regularly hearing your child read and please remember to sign their diaries.
