Dear parents/ carers

We would like to invite you to join us for ‘Stay and Pray’ during the special season of Advent, every Wednesday morning from 9:00am 9:20am. This is a special time to join your child in our class liturgy where we will spend time in prayer and reflection together.

You do not have to notify staff if you are attending, please just stay on the playground when you drop your children off and you will then be invited into class once the register has been taken.

It will run every week during Advent, beginning on Wednesday 3rd December. However, there will be no stay and pray on Wednesday 17th December due to breakfast with Santa.

Community Language Day (14.11.25)

Next week we will be having our annual Community Language Day. Year Two will be learning all about France. Please come dressed in the colours of the French flag as part of non-uniform for the day. If any parents/carers would like to come in on this day and share their culture/language with us please email info@our-lady.dudley.sch.uk FAO of Mrs Fairfax. This does not have to be French, it can be any language or culture!

Dear parents/ carers

Scripts for the KS1 Nativity has been given out and sent home today, can your child please begin to practise their lines as we will start practises soon after the half term holiday :)

If your child hasn't received a script today- please don't worry. Every child has a role whether it be a speaking part, acting or dancing and ALL are important. Specific acting and dancing roles will be assigned after half term.

You are invited to the Y2 open afternoon on Monday 20th October at 2:40 where you can come and look at your child's brilliant work so far in Year 2.

We will ask you to complete a celebration sheet, where you can write a message about your child's learning so far.

We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you!

Dear parents/ carers,

We are having lots of jumpers & cardigans getting mixed in year 2 at the moment. We have spoken with children at length about putting them on their pegs/ chairs or in their bags if they take them off to keep them safe. Could you please ensure items are clearly labelled to help us sort clothes out if they get mixed up or lost.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Children can wear PE kit on both days. Please ensure earrings are removed on both days. Thank you!
