Friday 27th March is own clothes and we finish school at 1:15pm!

Children will be coming home with a short reading comprehension over Easter, apart from this their only homework is to learn their class assembly lines :)

Geography Fieldtrip

On Thursday 19th March, we will be walking the children down to Hawne Park as part of our Geography learning. On this day, children are welcome to come in their own clothes that will be suitable for exploring in a woodland area. There are streams, so children may want to bring  their Forest School attire in a bag; wellies and waterproof trousers. We will be leaving at 1pm so children will not need a packed lunch that day and we are aiming to be back at school by 3pm at the latest.

If there are any parents that are available and would like to join us, please either contact myself on the gate or let the office know. Alternatively you can email info@our-lady.dudley.sch.uk and this will then be passed on to me.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your continued support!

Mrs P :)

Class Assembly

The children have come home with their scripts to start to learn their lines for our class assembly on Thursday 23rd April at 2:30pm.

We will be practising with them regularly in class, however any support to learn their lines at home is always appreciated!

If there are any issues, please don't hesitate to speak to myself or Mrs Brandrick!

Thank you! Mrs P :)

Outside Achievements

Please ensure your children are only bringing in to school their outside achievements (trophies/certificates) which we will then celebrate with them on a Friday in class.

Thank you

Mrs P :)

EYFS and KS1 Stay & Pray

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to invite you to join us for 'Stay and Pray’ during the special season of Lent, every Wednesday morning from 9:00am 9:20am. This is a special time to join your child in our class liturgy where we will spend time in prayer and reflection together.

You do not have to notify staff if you are attending, please just stay on the playground when you drop your children off and you will then be invited into class once the register has been taken.

It will run every week during Lent, beginning on Wednesday 25th February and ending on Wednesday 25th March.

We look forward to welcoming you! :)

EYFS and KS1 Easter Bonnet Parade

Please create your Easter Bonnet's at home and send your child's Easter Bonnet in on this day in a labelled plastic bag. We can't way to see all of your Bonnet's.

Dear parents/ carers,

We are having lots of jumpers & cardigans getting mixed in year 2 at the moment. We have spoken with children at length about putting them on their pegs/ chairs or in their bags if they take them off to keep them safe. Could you please ensure items are clearly labelled to help us sort clothes out if they get mixed up or lost.

Thank you, we really appreciate the support.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Children can wear PE kit on both days. Please ensure earrings are removed on both days. Thank you!
