If you were a Governor, what would you do to make our school even better?

Just the parking but not much can be done about that.

Have a crisis team, who could intervene at certain school needs (taken then some of the pressure of Mrs C F, Mrs A T and staff ). Going demand of parents finding and paying for extra tuition lessons. Maybe would not be a bad idea to offer tuition at the school in an evening and the money raised could help the school fund. Bring strictly come dancing to the school to teach children . I honestly think ,the school does more than enough to accommodate everyone's need .They go far and beyond to delivered their task each day with smiles in their faces .

Better sports facilities and a wider range of after school activities.

Continue with the values

I would get the school to get involved with the church services to keep the next generation to keep the faith as St. Paul did.

I would improve the play space.

The school can be overwhelming at times , especially at the end of terms , there seems to be a lot of non uniform days wearing specific colours , donating money to lots of different charities, maybe Raise more money for the school seeing as they haven't got a PTA, Do more school events in the evening as parents struggle to get out of work especially if they have more then 1 child in the school. Stop making the school website public so random strangers can see what events are going on at school. Also the newsletters are very long and come across negative , they just need to be shortened to show valuable points that are going on in school. Also let parents know how there children are getting on personally at school using a dojo app so we are updated frequently rather then at parents evening or end of year reports.

Perhaps more activities - children used to enjoy bingo or movie nights after school. Otherwise I think school offer and cater for all interests with after school clubs and school day is structured and enjoyed at every level

I think there should be more focus on Science in every yr group and more variety and opportunities for playing musical instruments in small groups. I think the uniform policy should be reviewed, particularly that girls should have the option to wear trousers especially in winter (the cost of tights & skirt is higher than trousers as well) and boots should be allowed in winter. A parent liaison type role might help as teachers have a lot of work to do, and this might create a stronger relationship between parents and the school.
