D.A.Bs (Diana Ambassador Buddies)

Diana Ambassador Buddies

At Our Lady & St Kenelm’s, our Diana Ambassador Buddies are pupils who embody kindness, empathy, and support, following the example of the Diana Award’s values of compassion and positive action.

Diana Ambassador Buddies:

  • Help new pupils settle in and feel welcome

  • Support peers who may be experiencing challenges

  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and friendship across the school

  • Lead initiatives and activities that foster wellbeing and community spirit

Through this programme, pupils develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while contributing to a caring, supportive, and inclusive school environment where every child feels valued.

"YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD"

Diana, Princess of Wales

Look at these fabulous young people who are making a difference in our lovely school community. 🩷😇🩷 Our Princess Diana Ambassadors empower students and staff to change the attitudes, behaviours, and cultures of bullying behaviour. 🙏😇🙏

Our Princess Diana Ambassadors are very busy with their action planning for this year ahead! 🙏💙🙏 They have already put in place friendship support for KS1 at lunchtimes! What super ambassadors you all are! 🙏💙🙏

Here at OLSK, we are always striving to look after others. We love to help out our local community by raising funds for charities, donating our unwanted toys/clothes to the Halesowen Welcome Group and donating our time to others.

However, our KS2 DABs are focusing on helping others, in our very own school family!

They are voluntarily using their lunch times to ensure their younger peers are enjoying school to the fullest.

What a wonderful team of students!

"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you."

Supported by HRH The Duke of Cambridge, The Diana Award engages young people, parents and teachers to change the attitudes, behaviour and culture of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and offline.
