Personal, social and emotional development is one of our prime areas of learning. Look how we interact with each other within pre school.

The children are learning about God the Creator in RE. They enjoyed acting out the story from the Bible how the world was created in seven days. The children added props and musical instruments to the story.
The children enjoyed exploring the variety of boxes and working out what to use to decorate them - they were able to select and use resources with help from an adult .The children had the freedom to create whatever they making it unique and purposeful to them. Some stayed for a short time at the activity where others displayed high levels of involvement. Lots of problem solving, sharing, turn taking and communicating with peers.
Look at the many activities the children access to develop their fine motor skills.
Personal,Social and Emotional development is fundamental in the early years whereby the children are learning how to share and interact with their peers . It is lovely to see them react what they know and see around them . They are speaking and negotiating with their friends.
Our children love to share books and listen to stories as a whole class and during continuous provision. We enjoy shared reading as a whole class twice a week whereby the children get to chose a book to take home and share with their families.
Communication and Language skills are one of our prime area of learning in Early Years. We are really enjoying sharing our unique treasure boxes enabling the individual to talk about things important to them and giving the children an opportunity to ask questions to find out more .
Physical Development - PE in the Hall. The children were learning about finding a space in the large hall and why it is so important to listen and follow instructions to keep yourself safe and others. We were really impressed how the children listened well responding to the drum to indicate to stop and exploring different ways to move around the space . Copying the adults but also suggesting movements and demonstrating them to their peers. We shared and discussed changes we noticed to our bodies as we exercised.
Physical Development is a prime area of learning during this session the children were practising their kicking and aiming skills also spatial awareness of others and obstacles.
“ Understanding the world “ is one of our areas of learning in the Early Years - the children engage all their senses as they explore our Forest School.
