Art!

Creating our own Ingestre style workshops at OLSK!

Over the next three days we are basing our learning on The Stewardship of God’s Creation, particularly focussing on our CST story; Greta and the Giants.

We have created clay cities, explored how we can texture our art to give our drawings some depth, and through our art, we have discovered how by building cities our forests and woodlands have been destroyed.

We finished off our wonderful three days with a trip to Forest school!

Day 3! Today we have looked at endangered animals due to the destruction of forests and drawn them using charcoal. Our Year 6 artists created waves and the Northern Lights, developing their soft pastel techniques!

Day Two! Today we have created perspective drawings of forests and then created some beautiful images of God’s Creation using Watercolour Resistance Art!

Day One! Today we have sculpted city buildings with clay, compared the beauty of woodlands to the busy cities and painted our wonderful earth using a range of materials and textures!
