Pope's Prayer Intention-
January
In January, we pray with Pope Francis that educators may be credible witnesses who help the youngest and most vulnerable. May they teach fraternity rather than competition. 'We want to be defenders of the identity and dignity of every individual and to teach young people to accept everyone without discrimination.
Today the staff spent time in prayer and reflection at our mother church, St Chads Cathedral.
There was a tour of the building, finding out all about the history & saints interred there. Mrs Finnegan & Mrs Turner were asked to read at the Mass of the Epiphany and Mrs Mitchell & Miss Meese brought up the gifts for the offertory. 💒
What a lovely way to start the new year, offering our prayers for a successful and happy 2023 as well as prayers for our staff, children and families. 🙏
We look forward to seeing all of you on Monday as the new school term begins! ❤️
We are deeply saddened by the death of our late Pope. The exposition of the body of Benedict XVI in St. Peter Basilica began this morning. Cardinals, bishops, priests, religious, and lay faithful give thanks and bid farewell to Pope Benedict XVI this morning in St Peter’s Basilica.
Keep praying for his soul.
