Summer Ball

What did parents think?

'A very lively family orientated event. It was great to see and speak to other parents but also the teachers who were very welcoming. It was lovely to see that this had clearly had a great level of planning. Stalls for the kids to keep them entertained and a good coffee for the parents to keep us going!'

'It's just another event that tells me we made the right choice of school. Not only do the children get a great reception but I believe the school genuinely care about making the parents a part of the experience. I can see that OLSK is about more than providing the core curriculum and as much about giving our children good social skills and a feeling of inclusivity.'

'I thought it was lovely! First time we got to go. I wondered if the toys sale and Knick knacks were going towards profit to the school, I hope so.'

'I think it was brilliant'

'Fantastic! No other word to describe it! Year 5 did amazingly well on their stalls! Lovely family atmosphere!'

'It was a lovely afternoon.'

'It was a lovely opportunity for the children to have some fun and spend time with the wider OLSK community, whilst raising funds for school.'

'It was good. Children enjoyed it.'

What could be improved?

'Nothing at all. Thanks so much for a lovely time.'

'Some organised games for the kids perhaps :)'

'Maybe like an MC. Someone organising and announcing activities'

'Offering food, perhaps would be a very good incentive to raise money for school. I kept on hearing how hungry people were, so maybe sandwiches, hot dogs, chips even would go along way . Thank you so very much for always delivering your best . May Our Dear Lord Bless You All.'

'The Photo Booth was brilliant in 2022. I think if that could be part of the summer ball in the future that would be fab!'

'Photo Booth was missed this year. Disco for the children, bouncy castle, more traditional summer fete stalls - tombolas, hot food, more games for the children to play, etc'
