My Amazing American Road Trip
In this geography driver, we will be exploring the geography and history curriculum through amazing America! As geographers, we will extend our knowledge of our local area to look at North and South America making geographical comparisons to Halesowen. We will investigate some of the most significant human and physical features of the Americas and look in depth at the biomes, climate zones, types of settlement and economic activity across these great continents.
We will revisit and progress our geographical skills and fieldwork by using maps, atlases and digital computer mapping, to locate North and South America, while drawing sketch maps with symbols and keys to build our knowledge of the wider world!
Through revisiting and progressing our skills and learning, these golden nuggets of knowledge will be embedded in our long term memories!
