In 2021, after many years supporting our school and children with numerous events, our amazing HSA (Home and School Association) had to disband due to lack of parental volunteers to organise and supervise events. 

However, recently a group of wonderful parents have created a new OLSK Helping Hands group which they would love volunteers to join and support!

The OLSK Helping Hands group are parent volunteers who will organise fundraising events such as film nights and discos for the children throughout the year. 

All money raised will be used to support our school and your children, ensuring that all of the exciting extracurricular activities such as Virtual Reality Workshops and Dan Callow retreat days plus many more, can continue!

If you have a child at our school or Pre School, then OLSK Helping Hands would love you to join them. Everybody is welcome!

At Our Lady and St Kenelm School we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and adults. 

All volunteers are expected to share this commitment and as a result, anyone wanting to join the OLSK Helping Hands group will be subject to a DBS check which will be verified before they will be allowed to volunteer at an event for the children.

All information about applying for a DBS can be obtained from a member of the OLSK Helping Hands group.

The more support they receive, the more events they will be able to put on for your children to enjoy and the more money they will raise to spend on the children!
