Our Mother Mary
On Wednesday we celebrated Our Mother Mary’s birthday who is our class saint. We started by learning how to bless ourselves, then we lit a candle to focus our thoughts on her special day. We decorated our role play with banners, bunting and balloons 🎈. We placed flowers 🌹💐🌺 on our prayer table at the foot of “ Our Mary’s beautiful Statue.” We even had a visitor bearing gifts - Mrs Finnegan which was a nice surprise!
After our class worship we made cards and played some games. Also we got to take home 🏠 some sweets and bubbles to mark their special occasion
